Description
RFQ 0246 GLVH UNICOR intends to purchase the following targets from US Molders on a sole source basis. We have been unable to locate these types of targets from any other sources. Vendors having the ability to make and/or supply UNICOR with targets equivalent to the US Molders targets should supply a quotation to UNICOR by November 18, 2010, 2 PM - Eastern Standard Time. These quotations should be sent to mpellien@central.unicor.gov or they can be faxed to (304) 626-2512. Attention: Mark Pellien. (Must be US Molders part # U-401RT or equal) http://www.usmolders.com/products/USM_RT_Truck_options.pdf [NOTE: The M2-50 caliber machine gun and the three painted three dimensional F-Ivan targets at this website are NOT wanted or needed.] Real Threat (RT) Light Duty Truck Frontal [Color: Plain - not painted] Quantity needed: 60 each The Real Threat (RT) Truck Frontal is a unique target display that improves training for group and individual enemy engagement and target recognition training. The RT Truck Frontal's life-like appearance comes from a permanent molding process that fuses the target details directly to the target surface, thus eliminating cracking, chipping, or peeling, and enhancing target realism. UNICOR requires a unique target display that improves training for group and individual enemy engagement and target recognition training. This display can be placed in a stationary position or can be mounted on most types of heavy lifters. This unique target display improves training for group and individual enemy engagement and target recognition training. This display can be placed in a stationary position, or can be mounted on most types of heavy lifters. It is useful for lanes training and convoy activities, including Army Training and Evaluation Program (ARTEP) collective tasks. The realism of the RT Light Duty Truck Frontal is created through a permanent photographic mold-in-graphic process. This process produces a target that simulates real threat vehicles. Targets are constructed of high-density polyethylene, and last longer than plywood or cardboard targets. If ever needed, an armor patch kit is also available to extend the life of the target for these items. The RT Light Duty Truck Frontal is designed to be durable and highly realistic, and will help train soldiers for the kinds of threats they will face in the field. Dimensions (inches): 75x18x70 Weight: 110lbs • Offers option of open windshield or windshield graphics, at no extra cost • No assembly required-can be used in freestanding position, or mounted on most major types heavy MAT & SAT lifters.
