- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N40442-11-T-7100, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-45, effective 01 OCT 2010. NAICS code 333912 applies. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable. This is a small business set-aside. In performance of this work item, the contractor and all subcontractors regardless of tier must comply with the requirements of all applicable GTRs including but not limited to GTRs 1 through 7, 22, 23, and 29. 6.0 QUALITY ASSURANCE REQUIREMENTS: None Additional 7.0 STATEMENT OF WORK 7.1 Provide the services of a qualified York HVAC Field Service Technician to troubleshoot and groom the Nr 1 35 Ton AC Plant, York Model Number RN62B-12 to accomplish the following: 7.1.1 Test operate NR 1 AC unit and record operating parameters. Pump down and secure the unit, open/inspect the heads and sump covers. Remove and inspect valves, pistons, connecting rods for wear. Replace defective components and renew all disturbed gaskets and seals. Change dryer cartridges. Drain and wipe oil sump, replace oil with ship provided oil. Pressure test assembled machine, then evacuate/ op-test and record operating parameters. 7.1.2 Dispose of all generated wastes, including oils, refrigerants in compliance with the local Japanese requirements. 7.2 Provide Port Engineer, Chief Engineer with a condition report of the AC Unit and recommended repairs upon completion of the visit. 7.3 Manufacturer's Representative: Allied Marine Crane Field Technician 8.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: None additional.
