- Interested parties (universities, businesses and laboratories, etc.) are hereby invited to participate in an Industry Day session to be held on 17 November 2010 regarding an upcoming Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Science and Technology Directorate (S&T), Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency (HSARPA), Cyber Security Division (CSD). The Industry Day session will be held at the Renaissance Washington Hotel, 999 Ninth Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001. Registration for this event is required and is available at: https://www.enstg.com/signup/passthru.cfm?ConferenceCode=DHS76226. Registration must be submitted no later than 12 November 2010. Registration submissions using the above link will not be accepted after 12 November 2010; however, onsite registration will be available the day of the event beginning at 7:00 a.m. The Government will not compensate industry participants for travel, lodging or any other expenses associated with this event. The purpose of this Industry Day is to brief interested parties on the topics which will be included in the forthcoming DHS S&T HSARPA CSD Cyber Security BAA, which will focus on the following Technical Topic Areas (TTAs): Software Assurance; Enterprise-level Security Metrics; Usable Security; Insider Threat; Secure, Resilient Systems and Networks; Modeling of Internet Attacks; Network Mapping and Measurement; Incident Response Communities; Cyber Economics; Digital Provenance; Hardware-enabled Trust; Moving-target Defense; Nature-inspired Cyber Health; Software Assurance MarketPlace (SWAMP). This notice does not constitute an invitation for bids or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is not a commitment by the U.S. Government to enter into any acquisition for any products or services. No solicitation document exists at this time.
