- The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center has a requirement for the following Marine Pilot Windows used for 87-foot patrol boats. Description Estimated Annual Quantity Window, Marine P/N: 72106-1256P 3 EA Window, Marine P/N: 72106-1257P 4 EA Window, Marine P/N: 72106-1258 10 EA Window, Marine P/N: 72106-1260 5 EA Window, Marine P/N: 72109-1262P 12 EA Window, Marine P/N: 72106-1256S 3 EA Window, Marine P/N: 72106-1257S 5 EA Window, Marine P/N: 72106-1259 7 EA Window, Marine P/N: 72106-1261 6 EA Window, Marine P/N: 72109-1262S 12 EA The Government will allow offers only from authorized OEM Facilities providing only new genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. Remanufactured parts are not acceptable. It is anticipated that a firm, fixed priced contract will be awarded to Beclawat Manufacturing Inc or their authorized facilities for these windows, NAICS 332321. This information is proprietary to the OEM. For these reasons, only components produced by the OEM, whether new or reconditioned, will be accepted. It is the Government's belief that only Beclawat Manufacturing Inc, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or their authorized facilities, have the required technical capabilities, engineering specifications, software and drawings to effectively supply these window. This information is proprietary to Beclawat Manufacturing Inc. The Government did not procure this information, or the rights to use this information. Therefore, it is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate only with Beclawat Manufacturing Inc or their authorized repair facilities. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to provide these items are invited to submit complete information discussing the same within 14 calendar days from the day this notice is posted. The information submitted must include a letter from the OEM verifying the offeror can obtain genuine OEM parts Period of Performance: It is anticipated that a firm, fixed price, 5 year requirements contract, with 1 base year and 4 option years will be awarded for this contract. If you intend to submit an offer on this acquisition, please respond by email/mail to Susan.a.kreider@uscg.mil or by fax (757) 628-4628. Questions may be referred to Susan Kreider. at (757) 628-4644. In your response you must include: (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit a bid for this solicitation as a prime contractor; and (b) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles and dollar amounts, points of contact and telephone numbers. At least two references are requested, but more are desirable. Your response is required by 22 November 2010, 4:00 pm (EST). All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made for a small business set aside. Failure to submit all information requested may result in an unrestricted acquisition. A decision on whether this will be pursued as a small business set aside or on an unrestricted basis will be posted at www.eps.gov. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract as planned. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited.
