Description
U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS APPROXIMATELY 11,192 RSF OF OFFICE SPACE FOR LEASE IN OAKBROOK, ILLINOIS (SFO#GS-05B-18681) REQUIREMENT: General Services Administration is interested in leasing Class A office and related space consisting of approximately 11,192 rentable square feet, which will yield approximately 9,269 ANSI / BOMA office area square feet to 9,732 ANSI / BOMA office area square feet of office space for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. The space will be occupied by Veterans Administration. LEASE TERM: Ten (10) years; Five (5) years firm term. UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Office space must be contiguous and have potential for efficient layout. Space shall be located in a Class A office building located in a professional office setting. The Government requires a fully serviced lease including adequate on-site visitor and handicap accessible parking spaces at a ratio as determined by local code estimated to be approximately 50 – 60 spaces. Regularly scheduled (throughout the day) public transportation must be available within 600 feet from the property line. All services, supplies, utilities, partitioning and tenant alterations are desired as part of the rental consideration. Space shall not be located within a base (100-year) flood plain or wetland. The Government shall have access to the space 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The offered space must meet Government requirements for Fire and Life Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. Occupancy is required no later than December 1, 2011. LOCATION: Offered properties must be located within the following boundaries: NORTH: Roosevelt Road SOUTH:Ogden Ave. EAST:Mannheim Road WEST:IL Route 53 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: 1)Building name and address. 2)Legal description 3)One-eighth inch scale drawing of space offered. 4)One eighth inch scale drawing off the first floor of the building. 5)Square footage offered. 6)Method of measurement used to determine rentable square feet. 7)Name, address, and telephone number of individual to be contacted. 8)Evidence of authority to represent the owner. AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: In no event shall the Offeror enter into negotiations or discussions concerning the space to be leased with representatives of any Federal Agency other than the officers and employees of General Services Administration (GSA) or their authorized representative.
