Description
Building 20 Reference Documents Building 20 Drawings SOW Interior Painting of Building 20 11022010 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the Format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as a supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation number HSCG3706-Q-SPW1103 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUES THE ONLY SOLICIATION. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation shall not be issued. Quotations must be valid for a period of 60 days from the date of submission. The US Coast Guard intends to paint the Interior of the SECTOR Command Building #20 located at US Coast Guard Base San Pedro-Terminal Island, CA. The period of performance for the resulting contract shall be December 6. 2010 through December 23, 2010. The place of performance for this contract effort shall be at the United States Coast Guard Base Terminal Island, 1001 S. Seaside Avenue, San Pedro, CA 90731. This requirement is set aside for Small Business with a NIACS Code of 238320 (Painting and Wall Covering). The objective of this requirement is to Primer and Paint the interior walls of each floor of this three story building. The Contractor must provide all supervision, labor, materials and equipment and perform all requirements as specified in the attached Statement of Work entitled, " SOW Interior Painting of Building 20 11022010". All applicable general requirements and specification documentation are attached. The contractor shall perform all work as defined in the statement of work, technical specification and drawings. A Pre-Quote Conference is scheduled for Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Engineering Building #10, to allow all prospective contractors the opportunity to review the work-site, conditions and the Scope of Work. All prospective contractors intending to submit a quote are required to attend this Pre-Quote Conference and to sign into the USCG Sign-In Sheet. Within two days of the Pre-Quote Conference, the prospective contractors planning to attend, shall provide the names an of the personnel to the COTR, Mr Len Ringel (Assistant Engineering Officer) for coordination with the Front Gate Guards. E-mail the names of the contractor attendees to Len.Ringel@uscg.mil to gain access to the Coast Guard Base. All prospective contractor representatives shall have available and provide to the Base Front Gate Security, proper valid identification, vehicle registration and current insurance. All quotes shall be evaluated based upon a "Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis. The Contractor selected for award of this contract must have been present for the Pre-Quote Conference-Site Visit and must have signed into the Attendance Sheet and provided all information requested. Any contractor selected for award of this contract must have a minimum of at least three previous Government Contracts with similar size and scope of work. All contractor being reviewed for award must provide the U.S. Coast Guard with validation of this required previous work experience. All contractors being reviewed for award must provide the U.S. Coast Guard with government references, with current points of contact and full contact information. Prevailing Wage Rates apply to this solicitation and subsequent resulting contract. Check the https://dol-esa.gov/SF98 for the current wage determinations information from the Department of Labor. The solicitation documents, Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-37. The following FAR Clauses are applicable: FAR 52.212-2, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items: FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions required to implement statutes or Executive Orders.
