- NOTICE OF SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). There is no soliciation available at this time. Requests for a soliciation will not receive a response. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of a market survey being conducted by Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB), NM to determine potential sources technically capable and qualified to furnish non-personal service that include personnel, supervision, management, materials (except where such materials are furnished by the Government) necessary to provide Engineering Technical support service to Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources (BEAR) flight (SSF). Contractor provides all labor necessary to ensure a broad range of technical support to the 49th Materiel Maintenance Group SSF with BEAR Base system and equipment product enhancement, improvement and integration functions. Provide technical assistance in assessing commercially available equipment for suitability for BEAR Base use. Assist the SSF in integrating and field-testing proposed BEAR Base system or equipment changes. Provide technical analysis to aid in planning logistics support for new and/or modified systems and equipment. Assist the SSF in developing and verifying effective solutions to identified equipment/material deficiencies. Contractor must have knowledge of security and confidentiality policies and procedures. The information is requested for market research and is not a solicitation announcement for proposals. No contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Responses should focus on your firm's technical capability to provide this service. Responses to this synopsis will be used for market research to determine under what, if any, set aside procedures this acquisition will be conducted. Small businesses (including veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, HUBZone, disadvantaged, and women-owned, and other small businesses) are particularly invited to respond to express interest in submitting a proposal and to provide information as to their qualifications.
