Description

USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service is announcing a project under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program for the City of Junction, Kimble County, Texas. The project provides for bank stabilization of North Llano River, City of Junction, Kimble County, Texas. The work will include removing and disposing of downed trees and brush within the work area, cutting and filling to construct the subgrade and filter for rock and the placement of shot rock and rock riprap. Estimated items of work include: earth work less than 3,900 cubic yards; approximately 2,400 tons of shot rock quantity and 3,500 tons of rock. The work must be completed in accordance with the specifications and drawings. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted o/a November 10, 2010. Site Showing will be held on November 16th, 2010 at 10:00 am. We will meet at the Kimble County Library Meeting Room, 208th North 10th Street, Junction, TX. Directions: from the red light, go east one block, then turn north. The library is behind the Methodist Church. The meeting room is on the north side, off of Pecan Street. Price Range: $250,000 to $500,000.
