- This contract action is for a vehicle for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only Bukkehave, Inc under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), the vehicle configuration specifications are not available via GSA from the big 3 automakers. The vehicle requires an Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) which is used in theater, the make/model is required to blend in with the local environment in Afghanistan for Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection concerns. Parts are readily available in the local market. The procurement method will use Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation/Solicitation for Commercial Items. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 336112 and the number of employees is 1000. This is a new procurement. It does not replace an existing contract. No prior contract information exists. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
