Description
Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and therefore, quotes are being requested. A written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is RFQP0700NAS0041-2011 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This RFQ is issued on an unrestricted basis under the North American Industry Classification System Code 511210. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) intends to make a sole source award to Actuate Corporation for 8 each of a maintenance agreement for Actuate e.Report Designer Pro & Client to include 3 each of maintenance for Actuate iServer Base, and 3 each for the maintenance for Actuate e.Report Option. Performance period for these services will be October 1, 2010 through September 30, 2011. The combined synopsis/solicitation will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed through the website. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for with they are eligible. The Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition is included as an attachment to the combined synopsis/solicitation. Clauses and Provisions applicable to this acquisition are included as an attachment to this combined synopsis/solicitation. The due date for quotes is November 2, 2010, at 12:00 noon, EST.
