Description
NSN 4720-00-933-1462 ITEM HOSE, NONMETALLIC. 3 IN. ID., BULK LG,. TUBE FITTING. Per QPL-24136-36 (dtd 28 Sept 2004) the approved QPL sources for : P/N M24136/4-48 are: Goodyear Tire & Rubber (L0249) Hydrasearch (32142). The Government desires to award an Indefinite Delivery Purchase Order (IDPO) contract as a result of this solicitation for a period of one year, with 1 one-year option or until the aggregate total of the orders placed against the contract reaches $150,000, for the item of supply listed in the solicitation item description. Any reference to $100,000 as the contract maximum in the solicitation's clauses and provisions starting on page __ of the RFQ is hereby changed to $150,000 per the new simplified acquisition threshold in the FAR effective 10/1/2010. **DLA INTERNET BID BOARD SYSTEM (DIBBS) QUOTATIONS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR THIS SOLICITATION. QUOTES MUST BE SUBMITTED ON A HARD COPY OF THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTE AND FAXED TO WILLIE J CASLIN AT 614-692-6916. EMAIL ADDRESS:WILLIE.CASLIN@DLA.MIL. The solicitation will open or about October 27, 2010. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government.. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Interested parties may obtain copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standards, Qualified Product Lists, Military Handbooks, and other standardization documents from the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP), in Philadelphia, PA. Most documents are available in Adobe PDF format from the ASSIST database via the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil/. Users may search for documents using the ASSIST-Quick Search and, in most cases, download the documents directly via the Internet using standard browser software. Documents not available for downloading from ASSIST can be ordered from the DODSSP using the ASSIST Shopping Wizard, after establishing a DODSSP Customer Account by following the registration procedures or by phoning the DoDSSP Special Assistance Desk at (215) 697-2179 (DSN: 442-2179).
