- RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): MULTI MEDIA MARKETING ASSOCIATES, INC., W912EP-08-D-0003 Additional funds in the amount of $178,551.50 for unforeseen conditions that made task order completion more complicated. These included: -Employee concerns with air compressor noise, which were originally contemplated to fit within the building interior space, requiring additional measures to provide adequate sound proofing. -Field changes and customer required changes to exhibit design. -Customer requirements for installation requiring off hour work. -Underground conditions impacting provision of electric to exterior exhibits requiring solar and/or additional trenching. -Field locations of exhibits/structures that changed from original concept due to requirements of Ranger personnel. -Difficulties in the development of unique mechanical mechanisms requiring additional time. -Relocation of hidden ducts/electrical lines that were impacting the installation of air lines for exhibit operation. -Delays in the acquisition of permits from State authorities for the use of protected species in exhibits that were not due to the actions of the contractor. -Delays in the acquisition of protected wildlife samples that were not due to the actions of the contractor. -Additional craftsman time to accommodate Corps required changes to exhibits at the 100% design level.
