Posted Date:22 October 2010 Responses Due:29 October 2010 NLT 1600 EST This is a Request for Information (RFI) in accordance with FAR Part 15.201 Exchanges with Industry before Receipt of Proposals. The Government seeks to identify interested offerors for a potential procurement action and to gather information that may influence the shape of a potential future Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for market research purposes only and it does not constitute a RFP, quotation or bid. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI does not restrict the Government to any ultimate acquisition approach or strategy. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this announcement. Responses shall not include proprietary information. Any responses that are marked proprietary will not be considered. The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking possible sources to supply a Generator, Environmental Control Unit (ECU) and Trailer. NGA may be interested in establishing a Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) contract with two options to procure additional units. NGA is seeking sources that can provide a solution for the following requirement (per unit): •One Generator with the ability to output 3 Phase 208 and Single Phase 240. (Simultaneous output of both power schemes is preferred) oGenerator should provide a minimum 200 Amp service in excess of ECU power requirement oGenerator should run for 24 hours at 80% load without refueling oGenerator's filters and hoses should be able to be purchased at local auto parts retailer. (No proprietary or unique parts needed for standard maintenance) •One Environmental Control Unit (ECU) capable of producing 96,000 BTU's (8 ton) of cooling oECU should be powered by Generator oECU should be thermostat controlled •One Gross Trailer oTrailer weight should not exceed 10,000 pounds and should be able to be towed with a class 4 hitch oTrailer color should be white. The suggested North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423610. Request interested and qualified sources address the following in accordance with the submittal instructions below: Capability: Provide a corporate capability statement that describes your company's ability to provide the above items. Price: Provide any existing corporate catalog which prices the above units and option units. Identify any applicable discounts or GSA schedule pricing. Delivery: Identify expected delivery timelines applicable to the above items. References: Identify references including name, organization, phone number and email for individuals your company has sold any of the above items. Business Size: Provide your business size in accordance with NAICS Code 423610 (in addition, any small disadvantaged business designations.) GSA Contract Vehicles: Provide any existing GSA Contract numbers applicable to the above items. Submittal Instructions Submissions are due no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) by the date shown above. Your response must include: business name, address, telephone, fax, email address, website address (if any), CAGE code and DUNS number, the full name of a company point of contact (POC), POC email address and POC telephone number. Potential Offerors not responding to this announcement will not be precluded from any further participation. Respondents are hereby notified that the Government may utilize Support Contractors to provide technical advice on the responses. All questions whether general, contractual, or technical shall be submitted via e-mail to Scott.L.Stallsmith@nga.mil no later than the time responses are due. The Government will endeavor to respond to all questions. Valid questions and responses will be posted without reference to the company submitting the question, for all interested parties to review. Responses will be posted to this RFI in FedBizOps as received.
