Description
Solicitation •§ Certified contractor to perform the replacement of HVAC units for buildings located outside of the CLA. The replacement HVAC units shall be provided by ANCDF to the subcontractor. •§ Contractor to provide all labor and materials to replace Non-CLA HVAC units. •§ This scope shall include any re-wiring or re-routing of the electrical service to each unit as necessary to provide power to the units including the materials required for that effort. •§ The PVC condensate drains from each unit, where currently installed, shall be maintained or restored to current functionality and appearance. •§ The metal siding of the buildings and the interior of the buildings shall be maintained or restored as necessary to maintain a presentable appearance upon completion. •§ Contractor shall be responsible for recovering refrigerant from old units for disposition. •§ Contractor shall be responsible for proper disposition of old units. •§ All work shall be performed to applicable codes and professional standards with proper and current licensing and certification. Work order activities will include: •1. LO/TO AC Unit to be replaced. •2. Obtain ANCDF provided replacement AC unit from ANCDF designated storage area. •3. Disconnect power wiring, control wiring and condensate drain connection (where applicable). •4. Remove existing AC unit. •5. Install new AC unit provided by ANCDF. •6. Re-connect power wiring, control wiring and condensate drain connection (where applicable). •7. Restore metal siding of the buildings and the interior of the buildings to pre-replacement condition and to maintain a presentable appearance upon completion. •8. Ensure units are fully ready for operation (filters installed, thermostat correctly wired, control power set to correct tap voltage, no obvious signs of physical damage, etc.). •9. Remove LO/TO. •10. Perform PMT (post maintenance testing) to ensure proper AC operation. During PMT, note, record and report any and all deficiencies on Subcontractor Daily Report. •11. Recover refrigerant from old units for disposition preparation. Properly label with Refrigerant Removal Tag. •12. Disposition old AC unit to specified location with properly completed paperwork.
