- The Department of Veterans Affairs Battle Creek VA Medical Center in Battle Creek, MI, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for infectious medical waste services (i.e. pathological/regulated medical waste), NAICS Code 562211, Size Standard $12.5 million. This procurement is set-aside 100 percent for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, material and equipment for removal and disposal of infectious medical waste for the Battle Creek VA Medical Center & surrounding CBOC's Battle Creek, MI 49037. Contractor shall provide all labor and supervision for delivery of clean containers and pick-up of regulated medical waste. Contractor shall also supply materials, containers and equipment for packaging, removal and disposal of regulated medical waste. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or before 10/22/2010.
