- Description
- The US Army Medical Command, Southeast Region has a requirement for a Graduate Medical Education consultant. The Government intends to award a sole source contract for this requirement. The suggested contractor is Partners in Medical Education Inc., 109 Brush Creek Road, Irwin, PA 15642-9504 1 each review of first draft of the Institutional Review Document (IRD) for Eisenhower Army Medical Center (EAMC), Fort Gordon, Georgia in accordance with current Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements with a written report provided that summarizes the reviewers findings and recommendations and to annotate the draft IRD as appropriate to illustrate the suggested changes. Period of Performance 4 October 2010 through 30 September 2011. 1 each final review of the IRD for Eisenhower Army Medical Center (EAMC), Fort Gordon, Georgia in accordance with current ACGME requirements with a written report provided that summarizes the reviewers findings and recommendations and to annotate the draft IRD as appropriate to illustrate the suggested changes. Period of Performance 4 October 2010 through 30 September 2011. 1 each execution of a Mock Site Visit at Eisenhower Army Medical Center (EAMC), Fort Gordon, Georgia to include interviews of EAMC personnel and a review of a random sample of various documents and files. At the completion of said Mock Site Visit provide an exit conference and a written report of findings and recommendations for additional preparation needed prior to the ACGME Site Visit for GME accreditation. 1 each travel expenses to include but are not limited to transportation to and from clients location to include prevailing business standard mileage rate; local ground transportation; lodging; meals; tips; tolls; parking; document reproduction and services; courier and/or postage fees or other associated expenses that may arise. 1 each On-Call retainer service for a total service not to exceed ten (10) hours. These short term consulting services (such as but not limited to review of program documents incidental to the production of the IRD, conference calls, and other services related to the preparation for the ACGME Site Visit for GME accreditation) would be conducted through various channels of communication such as e-mail, documents and telephone consults and are to be used in one (1) hour increments. Statements of usage and remaining balance will be reported to EAMC personnel on a monthly basis. (Services NOT include under this service are review of PIFs or the IRD, mock site visits, or on-site educational sessions.) This is not a request for proposal. However, entities that can provide an equal product must submit their technical capabilities to include certifications/licenses and Curriculum Vitae, past performance information, price and delivery time. This information will be reviewed by the Government medical/technical representatives for consideration for future requirements.
