Description
The VA Heartland Network 15 has a requirement for lodging services for eligible beneficiaries of the VA Medical Center, Kansas City, MO and the Radiation Therapy Center, Overland Park, KS. Contractor shall furnish rooms to VA beneficiaries when specifically authorized by the VA Medical Center, Kansas City, MO. For VAMC Kansas City, MO the hotel/motel shall be located within five (5) mile radius of the VAMC campus located at 3801 Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64128. For Radiation Therapy Center the hotel/motel shall be located within five (5) mile radius of the Radiation Therapy Center located at 10500 Mastin Street, Overland Park, KS 66212. Performance period shall be for a base period estimated to begin July 1, 2010 (or date of award) through 6/30/2011 with option to extend two (2) additional one year periods. Services for the Radiation Therapy Centr are not expected to begin until 11/1/10. This procurement is being issued unrestricted, full and open competition. The NAICS code is 721110 and the small business size standard is $7.0 Million. This is not a requirement for event planning serivces. An offer which requires the Government to execute a separate agreement with a third party shall be deemed technically unacceptably. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Proposals will be evaluated on best value and past performance in accordance with the evaluation criteria in the solicitation. Request for Proposal will be available on or about June 1, 2010. Due date for receipt of offers is June 23, 2010, 4:00 p.m. local time. Anticipated award date is June 29, 2010.
