- Justificationa and Approval The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center, Fort Bragg, North Carolina intends to award, on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, with the Landmark Inn and Fort Bragg Billeting located on Fort Bragg, for Temporary Lodging for Medical Hold soldiers at Fort Bragg, NC in support of the Warrior Transition Program. This requirement will have a 12 month base period with a 1-year option period. The proposed contracts will allow for temporary on-post lodging for Medical Hold soldiers on active duty, Reservists and National Guard to include their family members, assigned or attached on valid orders to the Warrior Transition Battalion at Fort Bragg, NC. The requirement requires the contractor to furnish hotel rooms (lodging) that are furnished as required; such as televisions, mini-fridges, etc. In addition, the requirement also calls for associated services typical for hotels such as maid service. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 721110, Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels with a small business size standard of $7.0 million. Interested parties may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact (POC), Ms. Claudetta "Nikki" Smith. Response to this notice must be received no later than Friday, 30 July 2010, 2:00 p.m. EDT. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
