Description
FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT: Adrian Moons, Elec Engineer, (732)5329687 This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for the TANK, FUEL, ENGINE NSN 2910-01-044-8235 P/N/Drawing 72-5108. We are buying range quantities for 5 years, varying from 12 to 144 for each year. The current source for this Tank, Fuel, Engine is LM&E Co Inc, CAGE 22114. This fuel tank is used on the 10 kW Generator Sets. Detailed technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of this Fuel Tank is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this Fuel Tank must so indicate, by writing to Commander, USA CECOM, ATTN: RDER-PRA-GD, Building 1200W, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. The response should include production lead time, production capacity by month, surge capacity, number of years parts will be available, ranges for price breaks, if applicable, part number & manufacturer (CAGE) of proposed parts, or any other information that could affect the acquisition, supply and delivery of the parts. The response should also include documentation such as a copy of the purchase order if the supplier was a vendor to the listed source, or a statement from the listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with a unit that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the unit from the previous supplier. The unit would have to pass extensive performance and qualification testing to ensure the item meets the Military's requirement. The successful supplier may be required to warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended By the Army.
