Description
NAICS Code: 541712 The Environmental Protection Agency intends to award a contract for Physical Modeling of Fine-Scale Dispersion in the Meteorological Wind Tunnel (AMAD 10-106 GPRA 1), for the Office of Research and Development (ORD), National Exposure Research Laboratory (NERL),Atmospheric Modeling Division (AMD). A fixed price purchase order is anticipated to result from the award of this solicitation. The resulting contract is expected to have a Period of Performance of one (1) Base Year and one (1) Option Year. The Period of Performance would begin November, 2010. The associated NAICS Code is 541712 with a size standard of 500 personnel. This procurement will be made under FAR Part 13 provisions. This effort will support the ORD/NERL/AMD's responsibilities pertaining to the need for reliable models to predict concentrations of contaminants within complex urban areas. Please find the following attachments which include: 1) SOW, 2) Evaluation Criteria, 3) Deliverable Schedule, 4) Price Breakout Sheet. In addition to this please note, attachment # 4 which requires each vendor to, a) submit their pricing breakout per task deliverable, i.e. tasks 1 thru 9, along with, b) a proposed payment schedule. Each specific price breakout should be associated with that particular milestone, or deliverable which will be completed. Please note you will need to complete pricing for the 9 related tasks separately for you proposed costs. All questions can be submitted to the undersigned via email correspondence only. Proposals will be due October 25th, 2010 NLT 5:00 pm est. This solicitation and amendments will be available via the internet at the following URL: http://www.epa.gov/oam/rtp_cmd/index.htm. Firms must access the solicitation and amendments via the internet. Once you obtain a copy of the solicitation via the internet it will be your responsibility to frequently check the same site where the solicitation is posted for any amendments. All interested parties who believe they can provide the required analysis should fully explain their capabilities and qualifications in writing within 10 days from the date of this announcement including their DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System) number, referencing RFQ-RT-11-00002.
