Description
NOT a request for proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The VISN 11 Contracting Office John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit, MI is conducting a market survey for qualified small businesses (including Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) capable of providing the required construction services outlined below for the John D. Dingell VA hospital located in Detroit, Michigan. Applicable NAICS code is 238220 size standard $14.0 million. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than October, 15 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Description of work to be performed includes: Work furnishing all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision to add isolation valves, tee, unions, and hose connections to the hydronic water reheat system at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit, Michigan. There are approximately 144 drain valves, 144 tees, 144 hose connections, and 116 dielectric unions. Performance period: 180 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The project magnitude of this project is (c) Between $100,000 and $250,000. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than October, 15 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category (Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this sources sought announcement.
