- NOT a request for proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue solicitation documents. The VISN 11 Contracting Office John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit, MI is conducting a market survey for qualified small businesses (including Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8a, and/or Hub Zone) capable of providing the required construction services outlined below for the John D. Dingell VA hospital located in Detroit, Michigan. Applicable NAICS code is 236220 size standard $33.5 million. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email or fax is acceptable) and received no later than October, 15 2010. No telephone inquires will be accepted. All responses to this notice must identify the social economic category of the respondent, name and address of company, name and phone number of contact person, and the company's DUNS number. Description of work to be performed includes: Work includes the renovation of approximately 5,653 square feet of clinical and administrative space. The scope includes the demolition of approximately 4,731 square feet of existing clinical space for conversion into new clinical and administrative functions, and refurbishment of the remaining 922 square feet for use as patient waiting and administrative offices. This work will include new partitions and doors; interior finishes; electrical power, lighting and communications; plumbing; HVAC controls; and the rework of existing HVAC equipment, ductwork and sprinkler system. Performance period: 120 days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The project magnitude of this project is (f) Between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000.
