- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Middle East District would like to invite contractors to Industry Day on October 29, 2010, starting at 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM, at the Village Pavilion, Building 4507, Patrick Henry Village, Heidelberg, Germany. Check-in for the event will begin at 9:15 AM. The purpose of the Industry Day event is to discuss the re-compete of the U.S. Army Europe (USAREUR) Support Contract (W912ER-05-D-0003). The USAREUR Support Contract II (USC II) is the contract vehicle through which USAREUR will receive support services to maintain the operational readiness of US forces deployed within the USAREUR AOR. This event is open to the public and is not restricted to those currently under contract with the Army Corps of Engineers. The Industry Day is limited to two representatives per company. All interested attendees must pre-register by email to both Kathy.J.Perry@usace.army.mil and Barb.Stuart@usace.army.mil with the following subject line--RSVP USC II Industry Day--by 4:00 PM, October 18, 2010. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Registration must include name, company, day time telephone number, email address and reason for attendance. This is a no-fee event and seating is limited. Check-in for the event begins at 9:15 AM. The Government will not be conducting one-on-one discussions during this event. This announcement is not a contract, request for proposal, a promise to contract, a forum to discuss upcoming work, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Army will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee or for travel expenses for marketing efforts.
