Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICIATION. NO FURTHER SOLICIATION WILL BE ISSUED. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Q979111K002 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulations. (iv) This procurement is being issued as Full and Open Solicitation under NAICS code 454319. The National Park Service(NPS) requires, on a fixed-price with economic price adjustment basis, estimated 26,500 gallons of heating oil fuel, estimated 2,200 gallons of unleaded fuel and estimated 9,000 gallons of AV Gas fuel over a 12-month period distributed on as needed basis to Western Arctic Parklands, 297 Fifth and Mission Streets, Kotzebue, AK 99752. The heating oil fuel will be delivered to various NPS Buildings and Housing units. The 9,000 gallons of AV Gas fuel and 2,200 gallons of unleaded fuel will be delivered to NPS bulk tanks The offeror's quote shall be based on price per gallon over a 12-month period. Period of Performance for this requirement is October 22, 2010 through September 30, 2011. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at, 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications and submit with its offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. F.O.B.- Destination. Vendor must have registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov prior to an award being made.
