Description
NAICS Code: 926130 NAICS Code: 926130 The United States Environmental Protection Agency National Air and Radiation Environmental Laboratory, intends to issue a sole source purchase order to the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The required licensing are as follows: All other special nuclear material licenses, except licenses authorizing special nuclear material in unsealed form in combination that would constitute a critical quantity (program codes 22110, 22111, 22120, 22131, 22136, 22150, 22151, 22161, 22163, 22170, 23100, 23300, 23310.); all other source material licenses (program codes: 11200, 11220, 11221, 11230, 11300, 11800, 11810.); other licenses for possession and use of byproduct material issued under part 30 of this chapter for research and development that do not authorize commercial distribution (program codes: 03620.) The justification is as follows: only the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, approved and experienced service engineers to operate the eight-chamber, alpha spectroscopy detector and assembly. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement may submit a response, which if received within fifteen (15) calendar days of the closing date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this announcement must be in writing to the contract specialist at wright.dionne@epa.gov.
