- Description
- This is a notice of intent that WR-ALC anticipates issuing a contract for the purchase of Milli Computer Replacement 1553 Circuit Card Assembly (MCR 1553 CCA) kits in support of the AN/ALQ-131 Electronic Countermeasure Pod (ECM) Pod. This requirement is to obtain 440 USAF kits on the basic contract with up to 330 FMS quantities as an option. USAF kits will consist of the following: AN/ALQ-131 Block III Pod MCR 1553 CCA (USAF) kits, 440 each ALM-256 Intermediate Level Support (ILSE) MCR 1553 (USAF) kits, 45 each Test Program Set (TPS) Depot (USAF) kits, 2 each Options for FMS will consist of the following: AN/ALQ-131 Block III Pod MCR 1553 CCA (FMS) kits, 1-330 each ALM-256 Intermediate Level Support (ILSE) MCR 1553 (FMS) kits, 1-15 each Delivery Schedule: The delivery schedule for all kits is 12 months ARO. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Northrop Grumman, Cage CODE: 0JRC1. The authority for this acquisition falls under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as supplemented by FAR 6.302-1. Justification: Supplies and services are required are available from only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
