Description
Concrete pads at the Cold Brook Project near Hot Springs, South Dakota. The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, material, and equipment to perform site preparaton, forming, placing, finishing, jointing and curing Portland Cement concrete paving per the site drawings and specifications. The contractor will also be responsible for site grading and preparation of the area prior to the work. The base contract will consist of providing a nominal 5-1/2 inch x 30' x 40' smooth finished non-reinforced concrete floor inside a metal pole barn structure. Contractor will have to adjust the interior subbase floor level to accomodate the operation of three roll-up garage doors and one interior swing walk door on the south side of the building. Option 1: Work will consist of providing an exterior nominal 5-1/2 inch x 10' x 40' non-reinforced approach concrete surface sloped at 2% away from the building with a broomed non-slip surface. Option 2: Work will consist of providing a nominal 5-1/2 inch x 18' x 24'-5 inch smooth finish non-reinforced concrete floor inside a metal lean-to pole barn structure on the north side of the maintenance shop. Contractor will have to adjust the interior subbase floor level to accomodate the operation of two sliding doors on the north side of the building. Option 3: Work will consist of providing an exterior nominal 5-1/2 inch x 10 x 24'-5 inch non-reinforced approach concrete surface sloped at 2% away from the building with a broomed non-slip surface. Contractor to provide all plant, labopr, equipment and materials necessary and complete all work within 75 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed.
