Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate on a non-competitive basis with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (SAC), 6900 Main Street, PO Box 9729, Stratford, CT 06615-9129 to support the HX-21 Flight Testing Efforts on a Royal Thai Navy MH-60S aircraft. These efforts include Software Regression Testing for 48.1 FMP Software, ARC-210 629F-23 Radio, AN/APX-117, Active Vibration Control (AVC) System and other related flight test activities. This firm fixed price effort will be awarded as a modification to Order 4063 under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-08-G-0010. The period of performance is sixty days. This action is being awarded on a sole source basis to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 'Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements;' because they are the only qualified source which possesses the detailed knowledge of the Royal Thai Navy MH-60S design to allow them to perform these efforts in a timely and cost effective manner.
