- This is a notice of the Governments intent to solicit, negotiate and award a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business competitive firm fixed price contract for a 12 month base period (01 Oct 10 30 Sep 11), and 4 twelve (12) month option periods, beginning 01 Oct 11 and ending 30 Sep 15, with a potential 6 month extension of services (01 Oct 15 31 Mar 16), IAW FAR 52.217-8, to facilitate a personal services contract for Perfusionist/Physicians Assistant Services, Cardiothoracic Surgery Service at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC. The Perfusionist/Physician Assistant must be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) with at least five (5) years of perfusion experience in a clinical setting, possess current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications and must possess a Masters Degree. The Solicitation number is W91YTZ-10-R-0118. This notice is an urgent requirement for the Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 6900 Georgia Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20307.
