- FEDBIZZOPS Advertisement for Wasilla, Alaska Vet Center SOL# VA-260-10-RP-1380 The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking approximately 2,800 to 3,200 square feet of clinic space in the Wasilla, Alaska area. The property shall be located within an area roughly square, described as follows: North Boundary - West Swanson Avenue Extended, East Boundary - Bogard Road Extended, South Boundary - E. Palmer/Wasilla Hwy Extended & West Boundary - E. Palmer/Wasilla Hwy/Riley Ave Extended. Preferably, the space shall be divided into the following estimated areas: Wasilla, AK Vet Center Square Footage Requirement Description/Dimensions Approximate Square Feet 1.Approximately 3,000 usable square feet of office space, (preferably at ground floor level). 2.The rentable floor space we will be seeking needs to accommodate 6 offices, 4 of them about 11x14 (616') for the counseling staff. Two offices should be approximately 15x15 (450') for the team leader and the Family Counselor. 3.A Group room, utilized for a larger number of clients should be approximately 30x32 (960'). 4.A file room 20x15 (300') to accommodate active and closed clients records. Fully enclosed from floor to ceiling with a cipher lock on the entrance to the room. 5.A storeroom 10x15 (150') for supplies and archived materials. 6.A front desk and reception area that will accommodate a couch and chairs, book cases, copier 20x20 (400'). 7.A telecommunications closet 9x9 feet (81') to secure data communications equipment. 8.An ADA Bathroom 6x10 (60'). Flag poles outside the building. Restroom facilities shall be readily available within common areas of the building. The space may be either on the first floor or on an upper floor that accessible by elevator. The space must be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Parking, both handicapped and regular must be readily available. Convenient access to public transportation is a plus. All utilities including gas, electric, water, sewer and janitorial service shall be included in the lease. The duration of the proposed lease shall be a base period of five (5) years followed by five (5) one-year options.
