RFP DOL110RP21081 Attachment J -- C RFP DOL110RP21081 Attachment J -- D RFP DOL110RP21081 Attachment J -- B RFP DOL110RP21081 Attachment J -- A RFP SOLICITATION: DOL110RP21081 *** SOLICITATION DOL110RP21081 POSTED SEPTEMBER 21, 2010 **** The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, Office of Job Corps is seeking qualified contractors that can assist the Job Corps National Office by providing support for accommodation (disability-related) services throughout the Job Corps program via education, training, and program support. We are looking for firms that qualify under the Small Business Programs mentioned in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 19. When submitting your response, please indicate under which programs you meet the criteria. The NAICS Code is 541611, and the Small Business Standard is $7 million. Job Cops is an open-entry/open-exit, career skills, academic, and life skills education and career technical training program for at risk youth, ages 16 through 24. With 123 centers in 48 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, Job Corps is primarily residential with a small non-residential component. The program was established in 1964 and is presently authorized under Title I of the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) of 1998. The program is administered by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration. In addition to a National Office, there are six Job Corps Regional Offices located nationwide. The Job Corps accommodation (disability-related) services contract provides education, training, and program support services to the Office of Job Corps in enhancing the accommodation services provided to Job Corps applicants and enrollees. Activities undertaken to support this mandate: •· Applicant Folder Review •· Assist in the Review and Evaluation of Accommodation Funding Request •· Provide for the Assessment of Center Accommodation Services •· Conference Calls and Planning Meetings •· Consultation and Technical Assistance •· Accommodation Service Policy and Procedure Planning and Development •· Development of Newsletters •· Annual Conference •· Development of Webinars and Online Trainings •· Data Collection and Management •· Website Management
