Description
This is a sources sought notice only, no solicitation is being issued at this time. The anticipated procurement is for construction maintenance, repair and alteration to various types of facilities located on US Coast Guard Base Kodiak, AK with 100% HUBZone set-aside using the best value process. It is anticipated that this procurement will be for three firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contracts. It is anticipated that task announcements will be issued under the Fair Opportunity Act for price proposals for construction work using various disciplines. Task orders will be issued as a result of these task announcements. Task orders awarded will vary from a minimum of $100,000 to a maximum of $3 million per task. Contract total is $9 million per contract year aggregate. It is anticipated that four option years will be included for a maximum of five years. Each contractor will provide for all labor, material, supplies, transporation, supervision and all other necessary items for complete and usable projects, performing all work in a workmanlike manner in compliance with all plans, drawings and specifications issued. Common trades which may be needed include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, laborers, power equipment operators, cement workers, asbestos removers, painters and other trades common to the construction industry. Contractors will be required to perform multi-discipline construction, repair and remodel work using these trade workers. Past performance of the contractor working with multiple projects to demonstrate the ability to perform multiple task orders at different sites during the same timeframe. Established quality control and environmental quality control plan is required. Experience of key personnel with experience within harsh climates and remote locations are required. Bonding capability up to $3 million per task order is required. Interested contractors should repond by registering on the Interested Vendor List for this procurement. The amount of information available for publication at this time is limited This notice is issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10.
