- Solicitation N00421-10-T-0446 is issued as a request for quote. This action is set aside for AbilityOne. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase on a sole source basis with Lakeview Center Inc. Under FAR 6.302-1 service can only be furnished by Lakeview Center. The contract line number is 0001. Please see the SOW included in this document. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received may be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract is based upon responses to this notice. It is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received. SOW-STATEMENT OF WORK FOR Joint Oil Analysis Program Supply Technician This statement of work is to provide one supply technician to perform the following functions in support of the manufacture of the standards for the Joint Oil Analysis Program (JOAP). The duties are to: Pour spectrometric oil standards into bottles, attach labels. Assemble and pack crates, boxes, cartons, or bags as necessary and prepare material for storage or shipment. Conduct inventory of stock available in supply warehouse and report to chemists. Store or arrange material in or on shelves, cabinets, racks, or drawers, either individually or in kits, or by end-item sequence number of area installation. Label and identify shelves, drawers and bins of location and identification of material stored in each. Enter information such as bin number of materiel for cross-reference to material locations by part number or kit number for rapid location of materials. Assemble material into kits, or units, according to production requirements provided by JOAP personnel. The work requirements are well defined. The position requires the ability to read and interpret instructions which directly describe specific functions such as using the correct bottles and mailers for distribution of oil standards. Basic computer use is required. The work regularly requires handling boxes up to 40 pounds unassisted with carrying range up to 20 feet. Constant kneeling, crouching, stooping, and walking are required. The work is usually performed indoors in a well-lighted and ventilated production shop area but may also include exposure for short periods to outdoor conditions.
