- Synopsis: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared inaccordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additionalinformation included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the onlysolicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not beissued. This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ) andis being reserved for small businesses. Request is for transit cases forPowerstar PS502-750G shipboard universal power supplies ("UPS"). 1. The government requires the following items: Item 1: Transit Case with Custom Foam Inserts Qty: 75 These will be delivered FOB Destination to:North Charleston, SC 29405 2. Salient Characteristics:Item 1: The transit case must have the following: 2 carry handles conformingto MIL-STD-646D: 1 each on both sides; must be watertight, with a pressurerelief valve conforming to SAE SPEC AS27156; custom cut foam insert must beable to securely transport the PS502-750G Universal Power Supply (UPS) towithstand all applicable test parameters outlined in MIL-STD-810 in accordancewith the lifecycle environmental profile of the system; weight shall be amaximum of 15.40 lbs. Color will be olive drab green. Case should beconstructed from rotationally molded plastic. Please see attachment for theapplicable 810 methodologies. Dimensions of the UPS to be transported areas follows: H: 8.47in x W: 7.94in x L: 11.53in 3. Delivery:Please provide an estimated delivery time after receipt of order. 4. EVALUATION: Award will be made on the basis of the lowest priced quotemeeting or exceeding the salient characteristics listed 5. The following provisions and Clauses are applicable:a. 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Itemsb. 52.219-1 Post Award Small Business Program Representationc. 52.219-28 Post Award Small Business Program Representationd. 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests Prospective offerors must be CCR registered and must complete the ORCA on-line representation. Prospective offerors must provide a copy of their representation andcertification as required by FAR Clause 52.219-1 (see attachment). The NorthAmerican Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is326199. Failure to complete and return the clause may result in a "non-responsive" bid. 6. GSA or Open Market:Please indicate if your quote is open market or on the GSA Schedule (providespecific schedule). To have a bid considered for award all vendors must provide manufacturer partnumber and extended specifications of the exact model being proposed for allline items. NO EXCEPTIONS. Failure to provide this information will result ina "non-responsive" bid and removal from award consideration. Partial bids arenot acceptable. Vendor bids should be valid for at least 30 days from close ofthis solicitation. Quotes will be accepted via email only.
