- This procurement is being solicited for award by SAIC-F under its contract #HHSN261200800001E for Operations and Technical support at the National Cancer Institute-Frederick, a federally funded research and development center. SAIC-F is the prime contractor charged with operations and technical support of the government owned facility contractor operated (GOCO) facility. Please provide a price quote for the following items: 1) 1 each cat. 800, Unitop 800L Bulk Drying chamber with customized shelving or equivalent. 2) 1 each start-up and training Specifications : 1) The unit must have at least one shelf with 4" clearance and as many more shelves as we can get with at least 2 1/2" clearance. 2) Must be compatible with the lower unit, Vertis Freeze Moble 25EL, serial # 200765, to which the replacement unit will be wedded. 3) Must serve the same purposes as our current unit: unitop 600L, serial # 200703 4) Must fit into the space available. The footprint is approximately 26 1/2" x 40" with a 3 diameter vacuum port centered 12" from the left edge. 5) The amount of temperature-controlled shelf space must be at least 800 sq. in but greater than this is highly desirable. 6) A unit with a compressor of at least 1 hp or greater @ 208/220v is desired to give a rapid shelf cooling and shelf temperature control between -40 and +20 degree C. 7) Must be compatible with the existing facility alarm system (REES) 8) The catalog number listed is from SP Scientific/Virtis. 9) Offerors are requested to quote on the item as specified or equivalent. 10) "Equivalent" offers shall provide a complete specifications and/or descriptive literature for any alternates offered, stating catalog number, manufacturer, packaging; failure to include complete specifications may cause offer to be non-responsive 11) Offerors offering alternate items may be required to provide a demonstration of their items prior to acceptance. 12) Warranty period shall be _______ months, including parts, labor and travel. 13) All offers must be F.O.B. destination. 14) Any shipping charges must be identified and listed on the response for evaluation. 15) Freight over $250.00. If any freight charge exceeds $250.00 a separate invoice must be sent. A copy of the actual freight bill must be included with the invoice. 16) Offeror agrees to make delivery of the quoted items in _____ days after receipt of order. 17) SAIC-Frederick, Inc. is eligible for Federal Supply Schedule pricing.
