Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3Z1890139A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-43, effective date 02 Aug 2010; Defense DCN 20100908, effective date 08 Sep 2010; and AFAC 2010-0903, effective date 03 Sep 2010. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238210. The business size standard is $14.0M. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is N059. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 1731. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for the following requirement: PAGING SYSTEM FOR BLDG 549 (WAREHOUSE AREA) 0001: Purchase and install a speaker in each bay, office ceiling (admin and inspection), volume of speakers/ paging horns must be adjustable. Warehouse bay areas are 50 Feet high, x 197 Feet long x 197 Feet wide. Existing phone system to be used to install paging system (a separate line will be provided) Total speakers/ paging horns 18 for the bays 7 ceiling speakers and one small horn for outside office are with a hard lid. Vendor will train 5 personal on use and control of system. Provide a one year warranty on all parts and labor. Company to provide for all materials and equipment needed for installation of system. Qty: 1 Each Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items: (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following clause is incorporated to this solicitation FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds - Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
