- Pre-Solicitation 1.Solicitation will be issued on or about: 27 Sep 10 and closes 27Oct 10 for the Remanufacture/Overhaul of the F-16 Water Separator. Uponissuance of the solicitation, all responsible sources may submit a bid,proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. This isa SOLE SOURCE Solicitation for Hamilton Sundstrand (CAGE: 73030). Thisnotice of intent does not in itself represent the issuing of a formalrequest for proposal and is not intended to be taken as such. Therequirements set forth in this notice are defined per PR FD2030-10-27609as follows: 2.This is an Overhaul requirement. The contractor shall provideall the necessary materials, labor and equipment required to completedisassembly, cleaning, parts inspections, reassembly, testing andfinishing actions required to return the items to a like new condition. 3.The list of applicable CLIN's: CLIN 0001: NSN:1660-01-042-8009, PN: 74065-8 Water Separator, CLIN 0002: OVER ANDABOVE (TO BE NEGOTIATED), CLIN 0003: DATA & REPORTING (NOT SEPARATELYPRICED) 4.Est Qty: CLIN 0001AA: 14 EA, CLIN 0001AB: 8 EA, CLIN 0001AC: 8EA, CLIN 0001AD: 8 EA, CLIN 0001AE: 8 EA 5.Applicable to: F-16 6.Destination: FB2039 Unless otherwise requested by PMS to directship. 7.Est Required Delivery: CLIN 0001: 2 EA 30 DAYS ARO/REPS, 2 EA30 DAYS AFTER 8.IPE required for other than Hamilton Sundstrand. 9.If unit price exceeds $5,000.00 then UID requirements will apply 10.POC: R. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not todiminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer,but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
