- Synopsis: Description The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and Plant Sciences Institute (PSI) intends to issue a sole source award to Modular Component Systems, LLC. for the procurement of a 26' X 63' X 48' pit mounted Greenhouse Autoclave Sterilizer. The specific requirements for this product include a stainless steel chamber, single power operated, sliding door, microprocessor controls with programs for wrapped goods, hard goods and liquids. The government believes that only one responsible source, Modular Component Systems, LLC. can satisfy the USDA's requirements. Interested parties may submit an offer for consideration by no later than 5:00pm, EST. on September 14, 2010. Quotes/Offers received after the specified due date and time will not be considered for an award. If no affirmative responses are received by the close of this notice of determination of qualification, an award will be issued to Modular Component Systems, LLC. The determination to open this action for competition is solely at the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
