Description
NOTICE TO OFFERORS: FUNDS ARE NOT PRESENTLY AVAILABLE FOR THIS PROJECT. THIS IS A FISCAL YEAR 2011 REQUIREMENT. NO AWARD WILL BE MADE UNDER THIS SOLICITATION UNTIL FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS SOLICITATION EITHER BEFORE OR AFTER THE CLOSING DATE. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-11-Q-0063 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-45, Defense Circular Number 20100827 and Air Force Acquisition Circular 2010-0903. This procurement is being issued as a total small business set aside under NAICS code 811310. All materials, labor, tools, and transportation needed to furnish the following: 0001- 6 EA - Maintenance Service on two (2) Safety Kleen Parts Cleaners model #260 including parts and solvents once every 18 weeks. Maintenance shall include draining the recycled chamber and disposing of waste, add fluid as needed (estimated 8-10 gallons per machine), and recycle the machine to ensure proper functionality. Period of Performance for the Base year is 1 October 2010 through 30 September 2010. 0002- 12 EA - Maintenance Service on three (3) Safety Kleen Parts Cleaners model #81 including parts and solvents once every 16 weeks. Maintenance shall include pumping out and disposing of dirty solvent, wiping down any sludge to remove all residue from tank, add fluid as needed. Period of Performance for the Base year is 1 October 2010 through 30 September 2010. 1001- 6 EA - Maintenance Service on two (2) Safety Kleen Parts Cleaners model #260 including parts and solvents once every 18 weeks. Fourth Option is 1 October 2014 through 30 September 2015. 4002- 12 EA - Maintenance Service on three (3) Safety Kleen Parts Cleaners model #81 including parts and solvents once every 16 weeks. Maintenance shall include pumping out and disposing of dirty solvent, wiping down any sludge to remove all residue from tank, add fluid as needed. Fourth Option is 1 October 2014 through 30 September 2015. Place of performance is - F1P35J - 309 AMARG, 4860 S. SUPERIOR AVE., DAVIS-MONTHAN AFB, AZ 85707; The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price and technical acceptance. Offeror must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services-The Government may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 10 calendar days, applies to this acquisition. Clause 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract-(a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 30 days; provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 60 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 5 years 6 months, applies to this acquisition.
