- UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT SEEKS LEASED OFFICE SPACE IN ALEXANDRIA, MN STAR #: GS-05B-18675 The United States Government seeks to lease class ‘A' contiguous office space. The space offered must consist of approximately 5,547 rentable square feet in Alexandria, MN. The space should yield a minimum of 4,594 to a maximum of 4,824 ANSI/BOMA usable square feet. The proposed space must be located within the City Limits of Alexandria, MN. The proposed lease is for thirteen (13) years, ten (10) years firm and should be fully serviced. All services, supplies, utilities, and tenant alterations are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. The proposed space must have an efficient use of space: space should be no more than twice as long as it is wide; columns must be at least twenty feet (20') from any interior wall and from each other, and be no more than two feet (2') square. The proposed space must be contiguous (one (1) floor) space on the first (1st) floor space or upper floor with a minimum of two (2) accessible elevators. One (1) accessible elevator may serve as a freight elevator. Some storage space may perhaps be non-contiguous. The Government desires eighteen (18) on-site parking spaces for visitor and employee use. The cost of parking shall be included as part of the rental consideration. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than May 01, 2012. The offered space must meet Government requirements for GSA Life and Fire Safety Standards and Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABAAS) Requirements. Consideration shall be based on the area profile, location, and proposed security precautions if the location would be utilized. All expressions of interest submitted by brokers/agents must be accompanied by written evidence of authorization to represent the building's ownership.
