- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for grounds maintenance; solicitation number VA256-10-RP-0217. The solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) and set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Contractor is to provide all tools, equipment, supervision, labor, and materials to maintain the grounds at the MEDVAMC, 2002 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77030. The NAICS Codes is 561730 with a small business size standard of $7 million. The Government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. The closing date for submitting proposals is September 24, 2010, at 10:00 AM CST. All questions related to this announcement and the solicitation must be in writing and emailed to the Contract Specialist, Tabitha Contreras at tabitha.contreras@va.gov. Potential offerors MUST be registered at FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in order to receive notifications and/or changes to the solicitation. Interested offerors are solely responsible for monitoring the FedBizOps website for amendment(s) to the solicitation if any and acknowledging them in accordance with the requirements stipulated in the amendments. Prospective offerors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov, shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at http://www.ccr.gov and be registered at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov prior to award of a contract.
