Standard Aero Redesign Services Inc 3133 General Hudnell Dr Ste 100 San Antonio, TX 78226-2026 The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field FL intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Standard Aero Redesign Services Inc., for Line Item 0001: "Nose Stand" SA10809. 0002: QEC Upper Stands SA45390. 0003: QEC Wire Harness Buildup SA23709. 0004: QEC Wire Harness Tester SA45190. 0005: SA16375. 0006: Lower Longeron Rodney Fixture SA10670. This award is restricted to Standard Aero Redesign, Inc. and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 332710 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 5.201. The Government believes that FATS Quick Engine Change Stands are a patented and proprietary commercial product that can only be acquired through Standard Aero Redesign, Inc., and no other vendors are authorized to distribute this product. This notice is NOT a request for quote. However, interested companies shall submit to the contracting officer a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, and 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services at or before 12:00 PM (central), 24 Sep 2010. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a future competitive procurement. The contract award number is FA4417-10-P-0167 in the amount of $458,502.00. A firm-fixed price order will be issued in writing. Anticipated award is 24 September 2010.
