- Description
- USACE, Vicksburg District, has a requirement for furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, fuel, supplies, transportation, supervision, and management to provide inspection, operation, maintenance, repair, reconstruction, and rehabilitation of project facilities and features managed by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Vicksburg District at the following projects: DeGray, Ouachita, and Greeson Lakes located in the State of Arkansas. The procurement is 100% set aside for competition among firms certified by the Small Business Administration as 8(a) Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 561210 with a small business size standard of $35,500,000. All responsible 8(a) certified small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. It is the Government's intent to award one Cost-Plus Fixed Fee contract for a base year with four one-year option periods. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal is determined to provide the best value to the Government, considering technical capability, past performance and price. It is the Governments intent to make award without discussions. If award is not made on initial offers, discussions will be conducted with all offerors in the competitive range in accordance with FAR Part 15. Solicitation Number W912EE-10-R-0007 will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web page at www.fbo.gov on or about September 24, 2010 with proposals due on or about October 26, 2010, 1600 hrs CST. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the web page for the release of the Solicitation (and amendments, if any). All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of proposals. Offerors are encouraged to register to the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) web page at https://orca.bpn.gov/ for representations and certifications. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available.
