- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation notice for the purpose of leasing an instrument that meets the size and specifications of the VA West Palm Beach's laboratory on a cost per test or cost per reportable resulting in a contract inclusive of all reagents and expendable supplies necessary to perform Hemoglobin A1C analysis on whole blood. The contract period is anticipated not to exceed five years. Demonstrations of the hemoglobin A1C analyzer will be scheduled with Lynne Bradley, Laboratory Hematology Supervisor, who may at 561-422-6297. Demo results and completion of the technical and price proposal must be completed and submitted for consideration of award. Questions will only to be submitted in writing via email to the contracting officer at lois.greene@va.gov. Questions will no longer be taken after September 15, 2010. Quotes are required by no later than 2:00PM on September 17, 2010 and may be sent electronic to the contracting officer or sent by mail addressed to Lois Greene, Contracting Officer, Dept. of Veterans Affairs West Palm Beach, Network Contracting Activity -8, 7305 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33410-6400.
