Description
Questions: Q: Is this bid currently in existence? A: This is the first time 325 CONS has procured this service. Currently service is being provided through another governmental agency. Q: If so, can we obtain a copy of the previous winning bid/contract? A: This is the first time 325 CONS has procured this contract. The contract is available through the GSA. The GSA contract number is HHSP350200900100P Q: Who is the current incumbent, if this is a current bid? A: INTASET Technologies. The contract is available through the GSA. The GSA contract number is HHSP350200900100P Q: What is the anticipated spend over the contract period? A: The Government estimate is not allowed to be released. Q: If this is an existing contract how many employees are currently in place? A: This procurement is for one person. Q: If employees are in place can we obtain a spreadsheet containing the number of employees by position and current rate of pay? A: The contract is available through the GSA. The GSA contract number is HHSP350200900100P Q: Will the new contractor absorb the current employees? A: Business approach is the quoters decission. Q: If so, will the existing employees need to be treated as a new employee up to and including drug testing and background checks? A: Employee must comply with applicable laws. The Government will not ask for drug testing requests but Security Forces will accomplish a background check. Q: Who is responsible for the cost? A: The contractor is responsible for all cost. Q: New employees - Is the cost of the drug screening and the Level I and Level II (if required) background screening billable cost? A: If necessary, should be a part of the overal proposal price. Q: What is the expected annual increase for the leased employees? Is it based on the CPI? A: That is at the contractors discression combined with federal law (Service Contract Act) Q: Is this a cost reimbursement (management fee) plus a fixed price (employee hourly rate)? If so, will the proposer receive the current hourly rates by position? A: This is a fixed price contract. Q: How will the prior accrued leave carried over into the new contract be handled? A: That is at the contractors discression. There is not paid leave on this contract. Contract empolyee will only get paid for hours worked. Q: Is the leave accrued prior to this contract by the current employees a billable item? A: Contract employee will only get paid for hours worked. There is not paid leave on this contract. Q: Will the new contractor receive the leave balances of the current leased employees? A: Contract employee will only get paid for hours worked. There is not paid leave on this contract. Q: I notice there are several NAICS codes referenced in the Solicitation. We are a staffing Agency and fall under the 561 Administrative and Support Services are we eligible to bid this contract? A: The NAICS is 562920 for this contract. If a company has this NAICS listed in their CCR and considered a small business, then they are eligible to propose on this contract. Companies can update their NAICS codes in CCR as applicable. Q: In reference to a Performance Plan, Is that the contractor responsible to implement one or is there one already in existence that can be carried over in the new contract? A: The performance plan posted will be the performance plan for the contract.
