- This action has been awarded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of2009. In compliance with this Act, the Government posts this notice that Modification 39for contract NNJ09JA01C, Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) 4, Recovery Act Tasking, wasissued to decrease task order value and de-obligate funding in the amount of $8,034.45 onTask Order 4 in order to remove funds that are in excess of the amounts necessary tocomplete the required work. The work provided for under Task Order 4 is to providesafety support for roof replacement and loggia ledge repairs on multiple facilities atthe Johnson Space Center which are authorized for repair by the Recovery Act.<P>NNJ09JA01C is a time and materials with an award fee feature contract that was awarded toAnadarko Industries, LLC on a competitive basis. A time and materials contract isappropriate due to the impossibility, at time of award, of accurately estimating theextent or duration of the work or to anticipate costs.However, appropriate Governmentsurveillance is in place to ensure efficient methods and effective cost controls arebeing used. The services performed under Task Order 4 are within scope to the workprovided for by this contract.
