Description
W91ZRS-10-R-0012 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 721110; size standard is $7M. The Connecticut Air National guard seeks to award approximately 3-6 Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) for its Inactive Duty Training (IDT) lodging program. The CTANG is currently seeking hotels in the Windsor Locks, East Windsor, Windsor, East Windsor, and Orange, New Haven, West Haven, Milford, Shelton areas to offer lodging to soldiers during their IDT. Training typically takes place one weekend every month. Those who travel extended distances require a place to stay during their training. The Blanket Purchase Agreements that will be awarded are five (5) years awards. There may be multiple BPAs awarded for the 5 year period. All hotels located in the aforementioned areas are encouraged to submit an offer in response to this solicitation. This solicitation is a "Best Value Selection" to be conducted in accordance with the following evaluation factors in order of importance: Technical, Price, and Past Performance. All proposals will be considered. Proposals will be evaluated on a Best Value judgment, and proposals should be sufficiently detailed in order to make that determination. To receive an award of contract the offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database which can be accessed at the website http://www.ccr.gov or call Assistance Center toll free at 1-888-227-2423. Interested offerors are required to submit their representations and certifications on-line at http://orca.bpn.gov. You will need your DUNS number and CCR number in order to register to the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website. Offers shall be submitted no later than 09:00 AM 15 October 2010, to the Connecticut Air National Guard, Purchasing and Contracting Office, ATTN: Dawn Whelan, 100 Nicholson Rd, East Granby CT, 06026 or via fax 860-292-2342, or by E-mail dawn.whelan@ang.af.mil.
