This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. ******************************************************************* Quotes shall be submitted in ENGLISH language!! This Performance Work Statement does not limit the work to only include these items, but explains that the work consists of at least these principal items along with all incidental minor work that later becomes necessary to satisfactorily accomplish and complete the overall project in order for customer approval and acceptance of project completion by the contracting officer. 2.2 The system shall allow for the front desk to communicate with all 8 classrooms, breakroom, entrance doors and the playground. All intercom system points should be able to communicate with all other points. There is currently an antiquated system in place. The contractor will ensure the installation of all equipment and items meets the needs of the program. 2.3 Contractor shall make all attempts to keep the work within the centers' operating hours, Monday-Friday 0630-1800. Night, weekend, or holiday work shall be approved in advance, and shall be kept to an absolute minimum. 3.0 CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: The contractor shall become familiar with the work area and requirements and will verify all field measurements for work to be accomplished to include surface measurements, material required, other necessary components, accessories, and/or equipment to provide complete and fully operational systems, and shall provide operating instructions in the english language for the users. The contractor shall coordinate all operations with the building facility manager. 3.1 The contractor shall maintain a safe work area at all times. All debris shall be removed from the work site on a continuous and daily basis, as necessary to maintain a safe working area. The work area shall be cleaned and debris removed when the project is completed, before final inspection and acceptance. 3.2 The contractor shall sign in upon entering and sign out upon leaving the facility to comply with AF CDC regulations. 3.3 Loud work must cease at bldg 457 between the hours of 1130-1400 due to children's rest time. If noise level is not disruptive, work may continue. 3.4 The contractor must follow CDC regulations while in the building. Smoking is not permitted in the building or within 50 ft of the building or within sight of children (even on the playground). 3.5 The contractor will not be left alone in the facility. 4.0 GOVERNMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: The customer will provide scheduling and appropriate access to accommodate the installation and scheduling for user training. 4.1 The customer at Bldg 457 will inform workers if the work needs to be ceased due to the noise level for children's rest time. If noise level is not disruptive, work may continue. 4.2 The customer will be present in the facility while work is being accomplished.
