Description
Fort Stewart has a requirement to furnish all personnel, equipment, materials to Upgrade Fire Alarm and Mass Notification Systems for Narrowband Transmission. Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield currently utilize Monaco wireless fire alarm transceiver equipment that communicates with a Monaco central station. Per a National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) mandate, radio systems in the Private Land and Mobile Service must convert from wideband transmission to the narrowband transmission format. Ft. Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield have partially converted their existing wideband fire alarm transceivers to the narrowband type. The purpose of the work is to convert the remaining wideband fire alarm transceivers and related equipment at both bases to narrowband. The NAICS code is 334290 and the small business standard is $7.0 Million. All equipment provided must be in accordance with and in compliance with the statement of work. This will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Quotations will be evaluated as follows: (1) Evaluation criteria consist of three (3) factors. Technical/Mission Capability, Past Performance and Price. Factor 1: Technical/Mission Capability Factor 2: Past Performance Factor 3: Price (2) Relative Importance of Factors. The relative importance of each factor is as follows: Technical/Mission Capability is significantly more important than price and past performance. Past Performance is Approximately equal to price. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. This action is 100% set-aside for Small Business Concerns. A written solicitation will be posted on or about 02 September 2010 at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. The solicitation documents can be found by searching for the solicitation number on Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI). The due date for quotations is 13 September 2010 at 12:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.
