Description
Either New Manufactured Material or New/Unused Government SurplusMaterial will be accepted for this acquisition. Fuel Pump for F110 Engine; AMC code 3B. This is a sole source acquisition from Argo-Tech (Cage 59875). Suitabletechnical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge arenot available to permit acquisition from other sources. Data or datarights are not in the Government's possession and cannot be economicallyobtained. Currently Argo-Tech is the only approved source for thisitem. NSN: 2915-01-310-2881 PR. OEM Code: 07482. PN: 1373M87P07. Description: Pump supplies filtered, pressurized fuel and shaft powerto the main engine control. Dimensions are approximately 12 inches inlength, 12 inches in width, and 12 inches in height. Weight isapproximately 32 pounds. Material is aluminum alloy. Quantity: 15 each. Destination: Foreign Military Sales. Delivery Schedule: 15 each on or before 29 APR 2011. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, orquotation, which shall be considered by the agency. One or more of the items under this acquisition is subject to the WorldTrade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free TradeAgreements. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the program director or contracting officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate government personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interestedparties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8253. DO NOT CALLTHIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policiescontained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in itssolicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interestedparties may identify to the contracting officer their interest andcapability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercialitem within 15 days of this notice. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Request forWritten Quotation/Proposal will be issued. Only written or faxedrequests received directly from the requestors are acceptable. Theanticipated award date will be 60 to 90 days after the issuance of thisnotice.
